Job Summary
We are looking for someone with experience in Biotechnology/tissue engineering to join our friendly and professional team to train in this highly specialized field. Educated to at least 'A' level, experience of Lab/Cleanroom work & procedures is necessary.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Quality control of bio-implant products
2. Packaging management (labelling; check supplies stock, pouches, timing, etc.) & associated paperwork
3. Packaging of pouches, syringes and masks for gamma sterilization
4. Developing new SOPs, QOPs, forms & records and updating
5. Pre-production activities such as preparation for autoclaving & incubating; cleaning the Clean Room and Corridor; decontaminating equipment and environments using VHP
6. Assisting with production activities in Clean Room ISO4 and 5
7. Post-production activities such as Microbiology testing; cleaning
8. Allocating Catalogue codes & updating product list
9. Clinical waste management
10. Assisting with raw material handling (receiving, labelling, storing and temperature controlling) and sending biological products.
Qualifications and Skills
* 'A' level Biology/Sciences required
* Degree in a Science subject desirable
