Physiotherapy Departments Hospital and Community Settings across Tayside Band 4 Bank Physiotherapy support worker Salary Scale : £29,116 to £31,670 per annum We have an opportunity available to join our AHP band 4 support worker staff bank. You will be allocated a delegated patient caseload and work assessing the patient's care needs, within an agreed assessment and treatment protocol and/or modifying existing treatment plans as appropriate. This includes progressing patient treatment plans, reassessing and discharging within the agreed scope of practice, being guided by evidence based protocols where available. The role will be based across hospital and / or community settings. Previous experience within a care setting is essential. Applications are also welcomed from physiotherapy students undertaking their undergraduate studies. Support and mentorship will be provided to help you develop and reach your full potential in a supportive learning environment. The aim of the service is to supply on demand, appropriately skilled staff, to cover shortages within the service. Within the Staff Bank system, there are no guarantees of a fixed amount of hours each week as this is a demand led service. Bank workers are asked to submit their availability in advance and shifts are then booked on an as and when required basis. All staff registered by the Staff Bank Service may be offered shifts in a variety of hospitals/settings within NHS Tayside, depending on the clinical areas/departments needs, due to winter pressures, staff absence, sickness or any unplanned increase in workload.
