A critical stakeholder role in a key growth area The Balsall Common area of Solihull has been identified for significant growth, with the delivery of 2,000 new homes, along with a range of community, educational and health facilities, identified in the (draft) Solihull Plan and Neighbourhood Development Plans (NDPs). The vision is to create the best small town in the West Midlands as the current village grows with new development. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager to ensure that Council services, key partners and stakeholders in the growth area in Balsall Common are fully managed and aligned across the programme to maximise opportunities and deliver the right infrastructure in an effective and timely manner. The role will involve working closely with planning and other organisations at a high level to persuade and achieve an agreed solution, at times where parties have fundamentally differing views.
