Pathway Group is looking for a passionate and proactive Learner Engagement and Enrolment Officer to expand our reach in the Stoke and Staffs area. In this dynamic role, you will engage with communities directly, building relationships with local Job Centres, community centres, and other potential referal organisations to promote our training and career-building opportunities. Your will play a crucial role in attracting learners and using IAG to guide them from initial interest to successful enrolment, helping them unlock new career pathways.
What You’ll Do:
Engage with Communities: Proactively visit and build relationships with local job centres, community organisations, and other groups to promote Pathway Group’s training programs and career development opportunities.
Outreach Events: Plan and attend outreach events, workshops, and informational sessions to connect directly with potential learners, providing them with information and answering questions.
Promote Training Offerings: Explain training options, entry requirements, funding sources, and career prospects tailored to the unique needs and goals of each community.
Guide Learners to Enrolment: Support learners in navigating the enrolment process, addressing any questions or concerns, and ensuring they feel confident in committing to a program.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with our marketing and recruitment teams to enhance outreach strategies and provide valuable insights on learner needs and engagement opportunities.
Deliver Exceptional Service: Reflect Pathway Group’s commitment to quality by ensuring all interactions are professional, empathetic, and community-centered.
What We’re Looking For:
Community Engagement Experience: Demonstrated experience in outreach or community-based work, ideally within the education or skills sector.
Desirable Qualification: Holding a qualification in Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) or Careers Advice would be advantageous.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with funding streams and skills programs, including Skills Bootcamps, ASF (AEB), Apprenticeships, and Advanced Learner Loans.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills to engage diverse groups, build positive relationships, and address sensitive topics diplomatically.
Problem-Solving Ability: Experience in identifying and addressing challenges in community outreach settings.
Adaptability & Team Collaboration: Flexible in managing changing priorities and committed to working collaboratively across all levels.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Office and relevant digital tools.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel mainly within Stoke and Staffs, with some travel outside of these areas as required.
