We're seeking a compassionate and strategic Director of Family Support Services to lead the family support division.

In this role, you will:
1. Lead with impact: Oversee all aspects of Family Services, including DDS-funded Family Support Services, DCF Family Support & Stabilization, Adult Family Care (AFC), and recreation services, ensuring families receive high-quality support.
2. Ensure financial sustainability and secure funding: Monitor program budgets and contract utilization, identify funding opportunities, and complete grants and RFPs.
3. Be a leader in crisis management: Provide clinical leadership during emergencies for rapid and effective responses.
4. Strengthen partnerships and collaboration: Represent Communitas in DDS meetings, foster stakeholder relationships, and build connections with DDS regional offices to enhance services and advocacy.
Qualifications of the ideal candidate include:
* Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field.
* At least four years of experience in a family support program with strong clinical skills.
* Experience working with individuals with disabilities and their families, with a respectful understanding of family dynamics.
* A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
* Successful completion of background checks, including references, CORI, and fingerprinting.
