Mars Petcare's Royal Canin and Pet Nutrition divisions will move to a new S/4 digital core, supplemented with edge solutions. A Mars Petcare digital technology CoE has been established to work on both Royal Canin's EOS transformation and Pet Nutrition's Shepherd transformation.
The CoE Manufacturing Lead for production planning will report to the CoE Manufacturing Senior Lead in the Make to Deliver team. The role is responsible for designing and building new capabilities based on SAP S/4 HANA and the SAP Business Technology Platform to enable the short term production planning and material requirement planning processes for Royal Canin & Pet Nutrition.
What are we looking for?
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
* 3+ years experience with SAP ERP for manufacturing including MRP
* Experience specifying SAP ERP design or leading SAP deployment
* Ideally experience linking SAP ERP to best of breed Supply Planning applications
* Knowledge of manufacturing, ideally food, pharma or similar
What will be your key responsibilities?
* Work with Royal Canin & Pet Nutrition Process Owners and regional teams to define requirements for manufacturing solutions at Petcare factories globally.
* Analyze where Petcare factories can use the same solutions as other Mars segments, and where not.
* Analyze where Royal Canin & Pet Nutrition factories can use the same solutions, and where not.
* Collaborate with Digital leads responsible for Supply planning to ensure an effective end to end solution.
* Collaborate with the Make to Deploy team's integration lead to specify required template interfaces.
* Collaborate with colleagues in other CoE areas, such as the generation of purchase requisitions from MRP to feed into the Procure to Pay process.
* Drive the System integrator to deliver the design of production planning in SAP S/4 PP and assigned edge solutions for the Petcare segment.
* Ensure designs achieve appropriate separation of duties and that security role designs are appropriate with limited access to sensitive transactions and data.
* Ensure a high standard of testing and knowledge management to secure the long term value of the solutions.
* Provide guidance to regional deployment teams to successfully rollout the solutions in scope.
