Work within the nursing team, providing administration support to identify cohorts of patients who require health reviews, blood tests, immunisations, cervical smear tests, etc. Contacting and following up patients to book them into appointments. Inputting information and results into patient records, running phlebotomy clinics, ordering clinical supplies and ensuring clinical rooms are stocked up. Taking part in infection control procedures audits. Liaising and providing administration support to the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), including assisting in referrals management. The post holder will need to be able to work well within a team, be able to prioritise a varied workload in a busy primary care practice and work in a methodical and accurate manner.
