We have an opportunity for a Lawyer to join our Workplace team in Melbourne working with Partners, Brendan Charles and Sam Jackson.
About the team and the work
Join a highly regarded and passionate team who pride themselves on advising and representing private sector and government clients on a wide range of employment, safety, regulatory, and industrial relations matters.
You will advise and represent employers on all claims in state and federal tribunals and courts including unfair dismissal applications, general protections applications, contractual disputes and discrimination complaints.
You will also work with our clients responding to workplace incidents and emergencies, liaising with regulators, responding to regulatory investigations and working on complex criminal regulatory prosecutions in several jurisdictions.
Truly collaborative, you will work with our national team as well as engage with other practice groups. We also embrace flexibility and support our people to be their best, however that looks for each team member.
Given the exceptional client relationships this team has, you will have the opportunity to work with clients directly through secondment opportunities.
