Job Summary
The Director of Human Resources will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR strategies that align with the organisation's goals. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in human resources management, capable of overseeing all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and be proficient in various HR systems such as Workday and Taleo.
Duties
Develop and execute HR strategies that support the organisation's objectives and enhance overall workforce effectiveness.
Supervise and manage the HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
Oversee the recruitment process, utilising Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to streamline hiring practices and ensure a diverse talent pool.
Communicate effectively with all levels of staff to foster a positive workplace culture and address employee concerns.
Present HR initiatives and updates to senior management, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Conduct data analysis to inform decision-making processes regarding workforce planning, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while maintaining best practices in human resources management.
Manage HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and streamline HR processes.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a senior HR role with a strong understanding of human resources principles and practices.
Proficiency in Workday, Taleo, or similar HRIS/ATS systems is essential.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
Strong supervisory skills with a track record of managing teams effectively.
Demonstrated ability in data analysis to drive strategic decisions within the HR function.
A degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications are advantageous.
