Job Description
Highfields Primary School is seeking an engaging and ambitious Deputy Headteacher to join our experienced, dedicated and friendly staff who share the common aim of developing children's abilities and skills through engaging and inspiring lessons.

The Governing Body of Highfields Primary School would like to appoint someone who:
1. Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of achievement and behaviour;
2. Will work as part of the leadership team to drive and lead school improvement, pastoral support and work closely with the Headteacher;
3. Will take a lead in the development of a fully inclusive and creative curriculum;
4. Will support and embrace the community ethos of the school;
5. Has proven experience of successful leadership and management;
6. Has vision, energy, honesty and loyalty and can inspire and motivate staff and children;
7. Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills;
8. Can analyse a range of data in order to contribute to strategic planning.
