Salary: £66,566-£75,773, dependant on experience

Location: Out of one of their three offices in London, West Midlands, or Manchester
As Director of Programmes, you will lead a team of 60 practitioners, shaping the future of education for over 4,000 vulnerable young people across England. We seek a leader who believes in the transformative power of relationships and has a proven track record of creating supportive environments for young people. This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful impact, tackle challenges, and shape a growing, purpose-driven programme.
The day-to-day:
* Lead the Charge: Champion a relationship-focused approach, ensuring young people are at the heart of everything they do, whilst fostering a culture of connection, autonomy, and expertise within a team of 60 professionals across three regions.
* Grow and Expand Programmes: Oversee and support the team in expanding programme delivery while maintaining quality and impact. You will leverage your expertise and strategic approach to reach more young people, including engagement beyond direct delivery. You will also lead on school retention and ensure strong, lasting relationships with their existing partner schools.
* Shape the Future: Working closely with the Executive team and Board to develop a long-term business plan aligned with their 2035 vision. You will also be advocating for FBB’s mission by building relationships with Multi-Academy Trusts and other key stakeholders. You will oversee a £3 million budget, ensuring financial sustainability and strategic growth, through data-driven insights.
