About the role
At Matalan, we're building on our recent success in delivering major supply chain projects, driving innovation through the upgrade of our core Warehouse Management System (Manhattan WMS) and advancing our journey into automated fulfillment.
We're looking for a Logistics Change Management Specialist to play a pivotal role in aligning our operational processes with the needs of our ambitious change programme.
As a Logistics Change Management Specialist, you will be the key link between our operations team, IT department, and automation project teams. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that our operational teams are fully equipped to embrace upcoming changes and processes, making a lasting impact on our supply chain excellence.
What You'll Do
In this exciting role, your responsibilities will include:
1. Change Management
o Collaborating with our change community and operational teams to design and implement strategies that drive smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
o Partnering with IT and automation project teams to align project timelines and operational needs.
2. Process Workshops
o Organising and leading workshops to assess current workflows, identify pain points, and optimise future processes.
o Facilitating collaborative discussions that align with IT and automation improvements.
3. Communication
o Creating clear communication plans to inform and engage operations teams about changes.
o Developing training materials, newsletters, and updates to support transitions.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
o Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, fostering collaboration and buy-in.
o Acting as the go-to liaison between operations, IT, and project teams.
5. Training and Support
o Working closely with the Training Manager to design and deliver impactful training programs.
o Providing hands-on support during implementation and troubleshooting any challenges.
6. Performance Monitoring
o Tracking and reporting on the adoption of new systems and processes.
o Collecting feedback to drive continuous improvements.
About You
We're seeking a dynamic individual who has:
* Experience in change management, operational management, or logistics/operations roles.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead workshops and training sessions.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Familiarity with IT systems and logistics automation.
* An analytical mindset to solve complex problems effectively.
