Minimum Requirements:
* Experience as a Security Manager on a similar size of project
* Member of ‘The Security Institute’
* Diploma in Security Management (NVQ Level 5) or Security Management Foundation (IQ level 3)
* Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g., CCTV / Access Control)
* Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
* Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
* Solid understanding of threat analysis and asset protection
* Experience in public speaking and community liaison work
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
* Review and approval of Site Specific Security Plan’s in accordance with the Project Wide Security Plan and Site Access Procedure.
* Ensure all staff are screened in line with the Security Vetting Procedure.
* Management of the Security Services package, monitoring supplier performance and output against agreed budget and KPIs.
* Regular review of the H&S Management System (HSMS) in conjunction with the Health and Safety leads.
* Preparing and presenting briefings on operational security-related matters for the project leadership team.
* Briefing and guidance of the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and 3rd parties on the security plan and procedures.
* Managing a program of regular site assurance inspections.
* Liaising with local enforcing agencies and land-owners to discuss plans against threats and civil unrest.
* Working alongside stakeholders to safeguard common land areas and roads from disruptions and undue inconveniences.
* Investigating and reporting any breaches, losses, or misappropriation of assets to the correct authorities for their actions.
* Driving innovation and the upskilling of the H&S and project team in all security matters and continuous improvement.
* Support the wider Health Safety and Security team in the rollout of specific Health and Safety briefings and behavioral change program.
