Your focus will be to maximise sales while building good relationships with customers, offering you an excellent opportunity to make an impact and grow the business.
Duties will include:
1. Manage a broad base of key customer accounts in conjunction with the external sales team to ensure excellent customer service and growth in sales.
2. Help drive process improvements through the organisation from a customer service perspective, taking all available opportunities to improve the customer experience.
3. Fully understand customers' requirements both in retail and trade and how that can be married into our business model for superior customer service and sales growth in a business-focused manner.
4. Using CRM and other digital tools.
Criteria:
1. Previous key account/internal sales experience, preferably within the building or construction industry.
2. Committed and passionate about providing excellent customer service.
3. Target-driven with a genuine passion for the customer.
4. Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales.
5. Able to work both individually and as part of a branch team.
6. IT savvy and a proficient user of the wider MS Office programmes.
7. Knowledge or experience of building and timber products.
