Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early years of education? We are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team in LS10 on a supply basis.
About the Role:
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping children aged 3-5 years flourish in their early development. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
* Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and academic growth through play-based learning.
* Assisting with classroom setup, resource preparation, and creating a stimulating learning environment.
* Providing 1:1 or small group support, particularly for children with additional needs.
* Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative school community.

What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience working in EYFS, either in a school or childcare setting.
* A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
* Knowledge of the EYFS framework and the ability to adapt activities to meet children’s needs.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
