The position of Class 1 Day Driver involves :
* Making multi drop collections and deliveries of pallets within the Pallet Network throughout Central Scotland.
* Loading / unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
* Planning route on a day to day basis.
* Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.
* Attending regular training sessions.
Essential skills required for Class 1 Day Driver :
* Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Driving Licence.
* Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
* Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
* Working to deadlines.
* Confident, polite and a team player.
* Good geographical knowledge.
* Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
Salary for Class 1 Day Driver between £36,446pa - £43,329pa, AND MORE! depending on hours worked.
* Hours of work are Monday to Friday, from 07 : 00hrs to circa 17 : 00hrs.
