Teaching Personnel - Geography Teacher Role
Teaching Personnel is currently working with a close client seeking an adaptable and dynamic Geography Teacher to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a welcoming and supportive secondary school environment. The school is located in Trafford, easily accessible via public transport and staff car parks.
This is a full-time position starting in September for the new academic year, with a pay rate between £150-£200 per day, depending on experience.
Key responsibilities:
1. Prepare students for GCSE Geography exams by providing high-quality teaching and confident lesson delivery.
2. Collaborate with colleagues and staff to ensure effective learning strategies.
3. Provide targeted interventions for students who are struggling or underachieving.
4. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
Role requirements:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification.
* Previous secondary school teaching experience.
* Passion for teaching to inspire and encourage students' academic growth.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective classroom management.

All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency at a later date.
