DEPUTY MANAGER – JEFFERSON HOUSE - £35000
Jefferson House one of Florinee Homes successful children’s homes is about to embark on a restructure. The change will see the introduction of a new dynamic Deputy Manager.
The position is key and recruiting the right person is vital for the home to continue its positive trajectory.
The right candidate will need to demonstrate their understanding of the highest level in safeguarding practises that are priority to the function of the home. You will already be aware of the complex systems and processes required for smooth running of a children’s home along with the importance of recording and reporting paperwork that goes with them.
The Deputy Manager will need to be able to demonstrate their tenacity and ability to juggle spinning plates. Your organisational skills will be paramount, and your time keeping skills will be tested daily.Managing, leading and upskilling the team will be a key area of this role alongside supporting the Registered Manager.
154 hours per 28 days and will be fluid dependent on the needs of the home but the candidate will need to be flexible and available to cover days, nights and weekends alongside a rota. We believe a fully flexible deputy will add such a strong support to our teams at all times, not just Monday to Friday.
The role will include keeping the office administration to the standard that it has reached. You will be responsible for ensuring the day to day running of the home making sure that the team have all they need to complete successful shifts.The remainder of your shifts will be leading by example with the team and the children.
You will have your Level 3 in place, and Florinee Homes Ltd are committed to investing in you working towards your Level 5 if you haven’t already started or achieved it. The interview process will require you to discuss your understanding of the 9 children standards and examples of how you work alongside the SCCIF framework.
