Senior Finance Operations Manager
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum

In this leadership role, you'll oversee all aspects of day-to-day finance operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and help shape the firm's financial strategy. You'll also play a key role in mentoring and developing a dedicated team of finance administrators.
What You'll Do
As Senior Finance Operations Manager, you'll be a driving force in the firm's central finance function. From billing and reconciliations to compliance and client accounting, you'll ensure operations run smoothly and effectively. Your leadership will inspire a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, while your collaboration with stakeholders will be key in resolving finance-related matters efficiently.
* Lead and mentor a team of finance administrators
* Oversee finance operations: billing, credit control, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, client payments, and staff expenses
* Ensure compliance with AML regulations, local law society rules, and internal policies
* Establish and maintain robust financial controls and processes
* Manage banking relationships and cash flow
* Collaborate with fee earners, partners, and internal departments on finance queries
What You Bring
You're a seasoned finance professional with a solid background in leading operational teams. Your strong regulatory knowledge, team leadership, and process improvement skills set you apart. You communicate clearly at all levels and thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment.
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
* Proven experience in senior finance operations, ideally in professional services
* Strong leadership and team development skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
* Deep knowledge of legal finance operations and regulatory requirements
* Experience in streamlining processes and implementing financial controls
* Proficient in Excel and the wider MS Office Suite
* Highly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
