The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.
Summary of position:
Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk with a high level of attention to detail and superb organisational skills? Héroux-Devtek is looking to welcome an enthusiastic professional to support their busy Finance Team as an Accounts Payable Clerk, based at their head office in Runcorn, Cheshire.
So, what will the role of Accounts Payable Clerk entail?
Reporting to the AP/AR Manager, you’ll be part of a busy Finance Team, working within the transaction team of three. The role is to take full ownership of the day to day processes of the AP Function.
Main responsibilities:
Your duties will include, although not limited to:
1. Monitoring and maintaining AP Email In-Box
2. Data Entry to Infor LN Computer System
3. Matching and Coding Invoices
4. Reconciling statements
5. Requesting copy invoices by telephone or email
6. Maintaining data on Excel spreadsheets
7. Processing Debit Notes for Supplier Returns
8. Monitoring and maintaining GRNI Ledger
9. Producing BACS runs and adhoc Manual Payments
10. Supporting colleagues with tasks as and when required
Qualifications:
What will I need to be considered for this Accounts Payable Clerk vacancy?
1. Minimum of 5 years proven experience within a busy accounts department maintaining a purchase ledger
2. High level of numeracy and attention to detail
3. IT literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
4. Methodical
5. Self Starter
6. Accurate and timely data entry skills
7. Strong professional communication skills
8. Good organisational and prioritisation skills
9. Used to working with little supervision
10. Desirable, but not essential, experience of working in a manufacturing business
