Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust provides a comprehensive range of Acute (mainly hospital-based) health services, serving residents of Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, and surrounding areas including Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and parts of north-east Sussex; and services, such as Oncology and Ophthalmology, across a wider area.
We require an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to help support the Trusts Server Infrastructure. The role is based at Maidstone Hospital but cross-site working and out of hours cover will be required.
The post holder will be part of a larger team providing comprehensive 2nd / 3rd line technical expertise supporting the Trust’s:
• Physical and virtualised server estate across all sites
• Operating systems
• SQL databases
• Storage architecture
• Backup systems
• Change management
The post holder will participate in the day to day management and monitoring of the server estate to ensure high availability of clinical and non-clinical applications.
Assisting in the development of, and agreeing key performance indicators for the service with Trust colleagues will also be required.
The post holder will be expected to provide project support to enable the Programme Management Team to deliver.
