As a Planner, you will be part of the Transport Inter-site planning team, working alongside Bio-Recycling and site operations teams to ensure Inventory holding plans are efficient and effectively implemented to guarantee high service levels at optimum cost.Your role will form part of the Logistics Management Centre, the in-house centre of excellence for complex and diverse logistics functions across Thames Water. 1. Being responsible for producing innovative operational plans to continuously improve the operation
2. Scheduling and executing daily/weekly planning for inter-site resources throughout the TW Region of Operations
3. Understanding and operating in-house planning software to produce optimal transport plans and in-house developed resource models
4. Challenging current operational methodologies and implementing new ways of working
