Currently employing 100+ employees nationwide, we manage skilled electrical transmission and distribution projects within the utility sector. We are seeking a highly motivated, confident and enthusiastic individual, to join our vibrant specialist company with at least 1 to 2 years experience of working within a Technical/ Social Media role.
About the role
We are on the lookout for a Technical & Social Media Coordinator who is responsible for developing, managing, and executing the organisation’s social media strategy while also providing technical support for the company’s digital platforms and tools. This hybrid role requires creativity in marketing alongside technical expertise in digital tools and platforms to drive engagement and ensure the smooth functioning of tech infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Coordination:
1. Website Maintenance: Oversee basic website management, ensuring it’s up-to-date, user-friendly, and fully functional.
2. Tech Integration: Implement and manage social media scheduling tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems.
3. Digital Troubleshooting: Provide basic tech support, identifying and resolving issues with digital tools, websites, and software. Integrating AI into the business.
4. Platform Optimisation: Stay up-to-date on social media trends and tech advancements to optimise platforms and improve user engagement.
5. Office Spreadsheet Management: Responsible for understanding, organizing, and managing all spreadsheets across the organization which includes maintaining a centralised location for all spreadsheets and leading a streamlined collaboration and data sharing.
Social Media:
1. Content Creation: Develop engaging content (text, images, video) for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.
2. Social Media Strategy: Plan, implement, and manage social media campaigns that align with the company’s goals.
3. Community Engagement: Monitor, respond to, and engage with social media communities to build relationships with followers and improve brand presence.
4. Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyse social media metrics, identify trends, and create reports to evaluate campaign performance and improve future strategies.
5. Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media content aligns with the company’s voice, values, and branding guidelines.
6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with departments, collaborating on creating content to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign execution.
Skills
1. Technical Proficiency: Experience with website management, social media scheduling platforms, experience with basic troubleshooting of digital tools.
2. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot tech-related issues and find solutions quickly.
3. Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative mindset.
4. Social Media Expertise: Strong understanding of current social media platforms and current trends including usage of AI.
5. Content Creation & Design: Proficiency with graphic design and video editing tools.
6. Analytics Knowledge: Ability to use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to measure and improve social media performance.
7. Creative Mindset: A passion for ideation and pushing the boundaries of creativity in digital marketing to engage and captivate audiences.
Essential Experience:
1. Knowledge of integration of AI into business processes.
2. Experience with web & app development.
3. Knowledge of digital advertising.
4. Familiarity with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems.
5. Experience with Google drive or similar.
