Area Repairs Manager
Salary: £50,021 per annum

Hours: 39 hours per week (Required to work on Out of Hours rota no more than 1 in 6 weeks including weekends)

This role will help us to do this by delivering an effective repairs service across a defined area of Irwell Valley Homes Assets. You will be responsible for the delivery of a day-to-day function via the in-house repairs source, in line with key performance metrics and efficient operational management of trade operatives.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
· To lead the repairs service within a designated area and support colleagues to achieve the delivery of an efficient service
· Support and develop colleagues, including repairs supervisors, property inspectors and trade operatives to future skill and support succession planning
· To ensure the repairs performance achieves KPI targets
· Responsible for the co-ordination of resources to ensure that high levels of productivity are achieved and high quality maintained
· Provide relevant support to ensure effective trade operative resource planning.
· Monitor and report on service delivery as required by the Head of Repairs & Estate Management and lead and embed service improvements’
· Provide clear leadership that builds an environment based on trust, mutual respect, integrity, where everyone takes accountability and responsibility whilst working together as one team
We need people who are:
· Experience within a Repairs & Maintenance social housing environment at a similar level
· Experienced in managing people, budgets, performance and improving VfM
· Experienced in H&S and legislative and regulatory requirements for a construction related function
· Knowledgeable in the delivery of a repairs service via an in-house resource and knowledge of associated legal and regulatory requirements
· CIH Level 4 in housing or equivalent or commitment to work towards
