Litigation Handler\n\nMonday-Friday 9am-5pm\n\n£35,000-£40,000\n\nBirmingham\n\nOverview:\n\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Handler to join our team based in the Birmingham area. As a Litigation Handler, you will be responsible for defending litigated motor claims on behalf of large corporates from issue to trial. This will include handling claims involving personal injury/property damage, credit hire, LVI, and fraud.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Defend litigated motor claims on behalf of large corporates from issue to trial.\n\n * Assess liability and set and maintain reserves in accordance with client service level agreements and client "key performance indicators".\n\n * Investigate the merits of third-party claims.\n\n * Conduct telephone and correspondence negotiations with third parties, third-party insurers, and third-party solicitors to achieve the best client outcome.\n\n * Value general and special damages.\n\n * Utilise the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant authorities to obtain the best client outcome.\n\n * Ensure full compliance with all office protocols, client service level agreements, and client "key performance indicators" on all own handled claims.\n\n * Achieve 100% data integrity compliance on the office case management system for all own handled claims.\n\n * Work within and support the litigation team to achieve and maintain full compliance with all office protocols, client service level agreements, and client "key performance indicators".\n\n * Delegate and supervise appropriate tasks to the Claims Administration Assistants.\n\n * Ensure full compliance on all financial transactions with the client service level agreements, client "key performance indicators", and The Solicitors Accounts Rules.\n\n * Act as a technical and procedural referral for others in the litigation team.\n\nLitigation Handler Benefits:\n\n * Fully funded qualifications, and learning and development courses\n\n * Annual bonus up to 10%\n\n * 25 Days Annual Leave, Plus Bank Holidays\n\n * Hybrid working\n\n * Pension Package\n\n * Subsidised Gym Membership\n\n * Life Assurance\n\n * Group Income Protection\n\n * Season Ticket Loans\n\n * Company perk box\n\n * Employee stocks purchase plan\n\nInterested?
