We are looking for a craft-led Product Designer to join our talented and dynamic team!
Design at Ameba is integral to our mission of revolutionising enterprise software through modern, user-centred design and AI-driven workflows. This is a rare opportunity to shape the design of cutting-edge tools that transform outdated supply chain technology. You’ll work closely with Cedrik, our Founder & CEO, a serial entrepreneur with deep expertise in supply chains. His operational insights and extensive experience mean you’ll have a knowledgeable "power-user" by your side, helping you design and test tools that solve real-world challenges. Since Ameba is being built hand-in-hand with the industry, you'll get direct exposure and access to Ameba's current users at both medium- and large-sized enterprises from day 1, providing you with the rare opportunity to iterate on your designs at highest speed in a B2B context.
Building Ameba
If you’ve never considered working in a supply chain startup before, just imagine: Everything around you - including the top you’re currently wearing - has a story of how it got there. From raw materials to the final product in your hands, that story is its supply chain. We’re a startup made up of seasoned entrepreneurs (who’ve raised $160m+ and scaled companies to >1 million users), experienced builders (from Facebook, Palantir, Snap, Google, Microsoft & Amazon), and commercial superstars (formerly at McKinsey & Goldman Sachs). With over $9 million raised in just over a year, we’re backed by Europe’s best investors and have big ambitions to revolutionise supply chains globally.
Your Role Responsibilities
None of our team at Ameba is confined by their job title. We value flexibility and curiosity, and everyone has opportunities to contribute beyond their role. For this position, here are some areas you’ll likely focus on:
* Work directly with our CEO, CTO, and engineers to balance user value with technical feasibility.
* Be the driving voice in the company to champion design and deliver exceptional user experiences.
* Develop designs alongside our co-development partners and customers to create experiences that users truly love.
* Level up our visual design & design system to reflect our incoming brand overhaul.
* Prototype features to validate them through user testing and iteration.
* Contribute to strategic decisions about product direction and roadmap.
Requirements
* 2+ years of professional Product Design experience.
* 1+ years of professional experience in enterprise B2B software, SaaS, or Dev Tools.
* A willingness to learn and grow in a close-knit, collaborative team.
* A portfolio showcasing your best work.
Desirable Skills and Experience (but not essential!)
* Experience building or maintaining a design system.
* Ability to document and scale reusable design components (Atomic).
* Understanding of LLM (Large Language Model) capabilities.
* Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS/TS, React).
Life at Ameba
We believe in rewarding exceptional talent with top-of-market compensation and ownership (equity) that reflect your impact.
* In-person culture: We work together onsite 5 days a week to ensure everyone is set up for success within our way of working. While we offer flexibility for working from home when needed, our priority at this early stage is to build a great in-person experience.
* Rewarding compensation: We are looking to pay £80,000 - £100,000 annually + equity stock options (ESOP), depending on your experience.
* We invest in your health: Comprehensive private Medical, Dental, Optical and Hearing insurance with Vitality.
* Beautiful Central London office: Located in a converted warehouse by Spitalfields Market, just a 10-minute walk from Liverpool Street.
* Holidays: Enjoy 28 days of elective holiday (including bank holidays) and a 2-week winter shutdown to recharge. If you don’t use all your elective days, we’ll pay you the difference!
* Parental leave: 100% paid maternity and paternity leave.
If you’re excited about shaping the future of supply chain technology, we’d love to hear from you - even if you don’t tick every box!
