Based in a picturesque location and with flexibility over hours, this is the perfect opportunity for a 'hands on’ finance professional looking for a varied and enjoyable.
Reporting the Managing Director, key duties include:
* Take responsibility for ensuring all financial processes, systems and controls are operating effectively
* Responsibility for maintaining statutory records for the business
* Budgets preparation including cash flow forecasts
* Review and finalising of all management accounts
* Management of sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll and general ledger duties
* Ensuring all supplier and customer accounts are accurate and up to date
* Credit control
* Handling VAT, PAYE and other elements of tax compliance
* Liaise with external Auditors
* Support with HR, Health & Safety tasks and maintaining accurate records
* Oversight for commercial suppliers to include insurances, utilities and associated contracts
The ideal candidate will have proven financial leadership experience and will be able to demonstrate a level of strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
