Due to the continued growth, a need for additional support in the Finance team has arisen. This is a new opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Reporting to the Management Accountant, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation. This position involves assisting with various financial tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assisting Purchase Ledger with matching and coding invoices
Entering invoices and credit notes into Sage
Checking and reconciling statements
Registering capital invoices onto the fixed asset register
Checking and reconciling stock reports
Assisting sales ledger to raise invoices
General finance administration
Liaising with suppliers and site managers
To perform additional duties appropriate to the job as and when requiredWhat you'll need to succeed
Previous experience of working in a similar role
Reconciliation experience
Knowledge of Sage is preferred but not essential.
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills
Excellent Excel skills
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
