The Clinical Service team in theTogetherTrustis at an exciting time of development.This post offers the unique opportunity to join a newly established Psychology Service and to work systemically in multi-disciplinary teams to contribute to trust wide and externally commissioned initiatives and support the needs of individual pupils. In this roleyou will be working in SpecialistTogetherTrustsettings. You will draw on knowledge and expertise in neurodiversity and work closely with settings that support learners with autism and social communication differences. You will work with pupils with significant social and emotional needs and the teams around them,using trauma-informed practice.You will support the needs of learners with complex learning and developmental needs, and you will have opportunities to work in other settings on externally commissioned projects across the region, including work in mainstream and community settings. You will work in a variety of ways through training, problem-solving andcollaborativeconsultation and advice andsupportto teachers, parents/carers, SENCOs, the wider community, as well as children and young people.You will be able to build relationships with those you support, take a reflective approach and work in cycles of assess, plan, do review to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people.You will use psychological assessment and produce reports to contribute to an understanding of a childs needs and work in collaboration with others to develop shared and person-centred plans of support. You will besupportedby and willsupporta small team of Educational Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists using formal and informal supervision, and you will be able to shape and contribute to the development of a service that isinclusiveand celebratory of the experiences of the thoughts and ideas people bring.Opportunities for professional development and project development with universities as well as participation in charity and community focussed activity will be supported.
