As a Business Development Executive (BDE), you’ll play a key role in securing apprenticeship partnerships with employers, recruiting talented young people, and managing the employer-learner relationship throughout the apprenticeship journey. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding our apprenticeship program and ensuring both employers and apprentices have a smooth, successful experience.
As a dynamic and growing startup, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our team. The base salary for this role is £27,000 per annum, which will be paid once you successfully secure apprenticeship packages. In addition, commission will be awarded per apprenticeship partnership secured, with the exact details discussed at the interview stage. Key Responsibilities
* Sales & Partnership Development
* Identify and engage potential employer partners for apprenticeship programs.
* Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure.
* Present apprenticeship packages and tailor solutions to employer needs.
* Secure new apprenticeship partnerships and close deals.
* Recruitment & Onboarding
* Assist in the recruitment of apprentices by collaborating with employers.
* Support the interview coaching process and prepare apprentices for their roles.
* Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for both apprentices and employers.
* Employer-Learner Relationship Management
* Serve as the main point of contact between the employer and the apprentice.
* Provide ongoing support and ensure that both employers and apprentices are satisfied throughout the apprenticeship period.
* Reporting & Administration
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities, apprenticeship placements, and employer interactions.
* Report progress and performance metrics to management.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in sales, business development, or recruitment, ideally within apprenticeships, education, or HR.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to close deals and manage client relationships effectively.
* Understanding of apprenticeship programs and their benefits for employers.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Self-motivated and results-driven approach.
Salary & Commission Structure
* Base Salary: £25,000-£27,000 per annum, paid upon securing apprenticeship packages.
* Commission: Undisclosed amount to be paid per apprenticeship package secured.
