As a Systems Engineering Manager you will take a leading role interfacing with our customers, understanding their requirements and keeping them involved during product development. The ability to influence a diverse and highly skilled community of engineers, whilst also interfacing with non-engineering functions across the business will be essential. Our Systems Engineering Managers manage complex engineering projects through all stages in their lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
* Degree educated in a STEM discipline or HNDHNC with sound experience of the Engineering Lifecycle
* Evidence based experience in an engineering integration environment. (Applicants encouraged from Aerospace, Automotive, Rail and Nuclear Industries)
* Experience of Model Based Engineering approaches and the supporting methods and toolsets. (Teamcenter PLM, DOORs, CAMEO, MATLAB, ANSYS)
* Evidence based experience of management responsibilities, managing teams and senior stakeholders
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
* Good communication skills across all levels of an organisation
* Self-starter and pro-active but with the ability to work effectively in a team
* Accreditation to the International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE), or equivalent body institute, is desirable but not essential.
