PMO Process and Governance Manager St Albans (Hybrid working) As our nextPMO Process and Governance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the Project Management Office (PMO), focusing on providing the processes and governance, driving process improvements, and ensuring adherence to best practices and standards as well as driving alignment with all areas of the business. This role is crucial for ensuring that the portfolio of IT projects and workstreams is delivering value to Premier Foods. Due to growth this is a newly created opportunity in which you can put your own stamp on the role. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining governance frameworks to ensure project alignment with organisational goals, compliance with standards, and effective risk management. You will lead in developing, implementing, and continuously improving project management processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure efficient and effective project delivery. It will be your role to establish and maintain the IT project portfolio, ensuring this is always aligned with the strategic goals of the business and supported with the right financial and resource plans to deliver value. The Key Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or PMO roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership position. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Experience with project management software and tools, such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar platforms.
