About The Role Grade G £40,476 to £44,711 per annum 37 hours per week Permanent Would you like to work in an ambitious local authority council, looking to deliver high-quality public services? We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our small but friendly HR&OD team and play a significant role in providing generalist HR support across the Council. In this role, you’ll support and advise managers on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, carry your own employee relations caseload, lead and work with colleagues to deliver key organisational change projects and help shape the HR function to become a trusted strategic business partner. We’re looking for someone who: Can work independently and collaboratively with others Is confident with managing organisational change and ER cases, including coaching line managers. Is customer and solutions focused; confident and engaging with their approach. Has a good working knowledge of UK employment law Is CIPD Level 7 qualified or equivalent, with HR and OD experience to deal with performance / attendance management, disciplinary and grievance issues. Can demonstrate commitment to their ongoing personal professional development Is focused upon continuous improvement, better outcomes for our communities and bringing the council’s organisational values to life This post is also eligible for a hybrid working arrangement (approximately 2 days in the office and 3 days at home, subject to business need), or can be fully office based if preferred.
