An amazing opportunity has arisen for aFull Time Band 3 Senior Therapy Assistantsto join the Acute Medicine Therapy Team at Peterborough Hospital. If you are enthusiastic and motivated with a passion for caring, this role could be for you.
Candidates need a strong work ethic, a kind and caring nature and a willingness to learn and develop. You will need to be flexible and adaptable, working as a part of a supportive multidisciplinary team to assist in providing Occupational and Physiotherapy to people with a range of Medical conditions.
The role involves;
• Supporting patients mobility and transfers
• Assisting the therapists and wider MDT with discharge planning
• Completing functional tasks delegated by the therapists to support the patient in returning to their previous level of function.
• Assisting on visits to patients homes to assess their discharge needs.
