This is a hybrid position with 50% site presence expected. About the Role This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned tax professional who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. You'll take the reins on direct tax compliance and reporting across several European markets, offering strategic guidance and ensuring adherence to evolving tax legislation. Acting as a trusted consultant for stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in navigating complex tax landscapes. Responsibilities: Manage the preparation and submission of US tax reporting, including quarterly and annual provisions, leveraging cutting-edge TaxStream technology. Oversee transfer pricing documentation by coordinating with commercial teams and external advisors while analyzing financial data. Collaborate with external advisors to prepare corporate income tax returns and oversee corporate tax payments. Ensure compliance with tax disclosure requirements for statutory financial statements, working closely with auditors to address queries. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local tax legislation, analyzing changes and communicating their impact to relevant teams. Engage with tax authorities when required and provide advisory support to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters. Drive process improvements through standardization, automation, and the adoption of advanced tax technology. Support cross-market initiatives and projects to ensure compliance and optimize operational efficiency. What We're Looking For: A qualified accountant or chartered tax adviser with extensive experience in direct tax compliance within a multinational or practice environment. Proficiency in tax reporting and financial disclosure requirements in at least one European jurisdiction. Familiarity with accounting principles, provisions, and statutory audits. Experience with indirect taxes is a plus. Fluent English communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex tax concepts for varied audiences.
