Our client is looking for Deputy Managers for two newly registered homes in Telford, providing care for young people aged 16-25 with mental health needs. Both homes are conveniently located near the town centre, offering a nurturing environment for residents.
The Deputy Manager role includes:
1. Managing and supervising Team Leaders and Residential Support Workers
2. Ensuring staff coverage and maintaining an efficient rota
3. Providing training and identifying training needs
4. Assisting in the day-to-day running of the home
5. Acting as a role model and key worker for young people
6. Maintaining high standards of care and compliance with regulations

The ideal Deputy Manager will have:

5. Ability to take on professional responsibility and identify training needs
6. Care Certificate
7. 1 year managerial experience
