We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Head of Computing to join our thriving school community. Based in our newly built Technology Block, you will lead a supportive department delivering Computing across Key Stages 3 to 5.
About the Role:
· Lead and develop our established Computing curriculum from Year 7 through to A-Level
· Guide a dedicated team of Computing specialists through line management and professional development
· Oversee assessment, monitoring and intervention strategies across the department
· Drive engagement through extra-curricular activities such as coding clubs and digital initiatives
· Contribute to whole-school development as a middle leader
What we are looking for:
· Proven track record of excellent classroom practice
· Strong subject knowledge across Computer Science specifications
· Experience of raising achievement at GCSE and A-Level
· Ability to inspire and support colleagues
· Commitment to inclusive education
