OFFSHORE PLANNER (INITIAL 12 MONTH PAYE CONTRACT ROLE)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Planner develops, implements, drives, and continuously improves the clients Planning Process, ensuring consistency, diligence, rigor and industry best practice for developing plans to support the Morecambe hub- specifically with responsibility for the Central Complex and NUI operations.
Daily support to Operations providing guidance in prioritisation to the Operations Manager - Offshore along with associated operations teams as appropriate.
Responsible for compiling and facilitating the 28 day and 3M plans, ensuring engagement with key stakeholders for plan entry and execution preparedness for delivery in the 28-day window. Key participant in the 8Q planning process.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Integrated asset plan for offshore operations and resourcing.
2. Produce 4W plan weekly, incorporating activities from operations and other relevant functions including Projects and Decommissioning.
3. Produce 3M plan monthly, incorporating activities from operations and other relevant functions.
4. Support development of the 8Q plan, understanding the business drivers and commitments while incorporating activities from operations and other relevant functions.
5. Support the schedulers to ensure combined plans and schedules are implemented to maximize resource efficiency and achieve Schedule compliance.
6. Implements standard planning practice and produces the data to measure plan attainment.
7. Enforces planning process stage gates.
8. Optimises integrated plan for efficiencies and identifies SIMOPS clashes.
9. Ensure oversight of the barrier model is maintained and integrated with the plan as appropriate.
10. Maintain oversight of ORA's on the IAP.
11. Identify and support delivery of business improvement opportunities within relevant area of the business.
12. Ability to provide cover for onshore planner when required.

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. Qualifications / experience in Project Management and Project Controls.
2. Significant experience and knowledge of Primavera P6, and SAP.
3. Significant knowledge and experience of integrated project planning in an Operations environment.
4. Detailed understanding of Project Controls, across Planning, Cost, Risk, MoC, etc.
5. Knowledge of Association of Project Management terminology (APM BoK).
6. Analytical and systematic approach with an eye for detail.
7. Conducts all activities in a safe and effective manner and raises safety and environmental issues immediately and in line with corporate policy.
8. Degree qualified preferred but not essential to role.
9. Project Management qualification / experience desirable.
10. Experience working within an Operations and maintenance focused environment.
11. Great communication skills that informs/shares knowledge clearly and unambiguously and also implements and embeds change. Builds rapport and is able to influence and challenge in a constructive way / skilled at influencing decision makers on complex topics.
12. Proven ability to work collaboratively, within their team and across the organisation and externally as required.
13. Networks effectively internally and externally, creating an immediate, positive and credible impression on others. Leads other parties in conversations on the important issues and use persuasive contributions to influence change and action.
