Due to continued expansion, an opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated and friendly team. As a commercial cleaning business, our Cleaning Supervisor is one of the important hires we need to make. You will be responsible for managing the cleaning operation for commercial sites, ensuring the cleanliness of the premises, and supervising the staff to maintain required standards. The Cleaning Supervisor is also responsible for maintaining accurate records of the cleaning tasks and ensuring all cleaning materials are stored securely and properly maintained. You will also ensure a safe and secure working environment, adhere to all health and safety regulations, and manage staff performance while working alongside the General Manager.
Hours: 8:45 am - 5:15 pm, Monday to Friday. Times may vary due to various business contracts and may include weekends and bank holidays if necessary. Please note that many of our cleaning contracts operate outside of normal working hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Pay: £26,000 annual salary.
Requirements:
1. FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE NEEDED.
Duties:
1. Monitoring the cleanliness of premises, equipment, and staff.
2. Organising and allocating tasks to staff under manager's discretion.
3. Ensuring that health and safety regulations are adhered to.
4. Ordering and maintaining stock levels of cleaning materials when required.
5. Liaising with customers and contractors.
Additional Requirements:
1. Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises are maintained.
2. Carry out regular inspections to ensure the highest standards are achieved.
3. Train and supervise cleaning staff.
4. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and policies.
5. Ensure that cleaning materials and equipment are used in a safe and economical manner.
6. Ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are followed.
