We are looking for a Team Leader to join our residential home in Bacup. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role, support a dedicated team, and help shape the future of young people in our care.
The Role
* Leading and supporting a team of Residential Support Workers.
* Ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for young people.
* Working closely with the Registered Manager & Deputy Manager to deliver high-quality therapeutic care.
* Acting as a role model for staff and young people, promoting positive relationships and development.
* Implementing and reviewing care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding policies.
* Supporting staff development through mentoring and supervision.
What Were Looking For
* NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Essential
* Minimum 1 year of shift-leading/ keyworking experience in a residential setting. Essential
* 2+ years of experience in residential childcare. Desired
* Knowledge of PACE therapeutic parenting and trauma-informed care approaches.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* A passion for supporting young people and helping them thrive.
