Blue Arrow are actively seeking a highly organised and motivated Admin Officer to join our clients Business Support Team within the Public Health programme. This role is ideal for an experienced individual who excels in multitasking, forward planning, and proactive team support. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent time management, communication, and digital skills. Key Responsibilities: Perform a variety of administrative tasks and provide cover for team members as needed. Utilize Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Forms, Sway) and creative tools like Canva and Vyond. Monitor multiple mailboxes. Organise and coordinate national meetings, events, workshops, and webinars. Manage diaries, schedule meetings, prepare agendas and papers, take meeting notes, and track action items. Create accessible educational products and resources, including video captioning, transcripts, and alt text. Experience and Skills Required: Proven experience in an administrative role, handling correspondence, meeting preparation, and general administrative duties. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environments with rapidly changing situations. Strong communication and influencing skills within the team and across the organisation. Experience in handling complex, confidential, and sensitive information with various stakeholders. Capability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities. Experience in supporting and facilitating online meetings, webinars, events, and conferences. Proficiency in video transcription, captioning, and accessibility. Background in project management, planning, and organising tasks across multiple projects and programmes. Experience in Health, Social Care, or educational environments. Flexibility to work in complex and sensitive environments with undefined job parameters. Strong prioritisation skills to manage conflicting tasks and deadlines. Ability to gather and collate information for diverse audiences. Confidence to work independently and collaboratively to achieve shared goals. Strong numeracy and analytical skills. Excellent customer service skills with a flexible, helpful attitude. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive situations with tact, diplomacy, and persuasion. Supervisory experience, including coaching and mentoring team members. Expertise in Microsoft 365, particularly Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Fast and accurate keyboard skills.
