Early Years Teaching Assistant (Part-time)

About the role
This diverse, two-form entry primary school in Weston-Super-Mare is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and driven Teaching Assistant to support in an Early Years setting across Nursery and Reception classes. This part-time role will start immediately and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent position should the school decide that the candidate is the right fit.

By the time the children leave in Year 6, the school wants their children to be open-minded, independent, respectful, resilient, active, creative, and forward-thinking. They have high standards and achieve this through a creative and fun curriculum, but also by providing an environment where children feel safe and happy. The school is incredibly diverse, with a large number of children speaking English as a second language.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of EYFS Teaching Assistant you will need:
1. Experience of working with primary school aged children
2. A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
3. An ability to work as part of a team
4. Have, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check
