This is a 12 month fixed term/secondment opportunity. Applicants currently working for the NHS should seek secondment approval from their line manager prior to applying.
At NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB), we are committed to our core values of Care, Connect, and Innovate. We strive to create a supportive and collaborative environment where our employees can thrive and make a meaningful impact.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Transformational HR team for 12 months due to additional short term funding. The successful candidate will be integral to the team as we work towards transforming and reshaping the internal HR and OD service and providing a high quality, responsive service to all our employees and managers.

This is a varied, exciting, challenging but rewarding role. The Workforce Support Officer will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Transformational HR and L&D teams and be the first point of contact for enquiries relating to HR, Learning and Development, and our Electronic Staff Records (ESR) system.

You will deliver training on a 1:1 basis or in small groups relating to current processes or the implementation of new processes including recruitment, appraisals, pay progression, and the ESR Manager Self Service function. You will provide basic HR advice surrounding recruitment, pay, and terms and conditions of employment.
You will need to quickly establish relationships with managers, teams, or external organisations such as Occupational Health, payroll providers, NHS jobs, and the Disclosure and Barring service.
