Position
We are currently seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our CAREL UK Subsidiary located in Chessington. The position offers an office-based work model .
The Technical Support Engineer will reinforce the sales and technical development process with the leading HVAC-R OEM manufacturers, customers, end users, and engineers on site. The key task will be to support the implementation, by key manufacturers of heat pumps and ventilation units, of the high-efficiency solutions provided by CAREL, with a particular focus on compressor variable speed drives, natural refrigerants, and advanced connectivity.
Main Accountabilities
* Reinforce and foster the business and the presence of the Group within the HVACR manufacturer market, by ensuring the required level of technical support services to our Key OEM customers during the different process phases (qualification, testing, certification, adoption, delivery, after-sales)
* Manage technical support and quality required operations
* Identify and provide solutions to meet the customer's needs with a consultancy approach also with the support of the available resources available within the Group
* Technical liaise between the market and CAREL Headquarters
* Use and maintain the required level of the adopted CRM tools and Salesforce ticketing tool
Requirements
* Technical background or excellent technical understanding
* Solid Electronic/Electric literacy know how and solid digital skills
* Capability to embrace and advocate innovations for the future
* Customer acumen
* Motivation and organizational performance
* Knowledge or experience in thermodynamics or HVACR applications is preferred
* Good English proficiency requested to work with our teams all over the world
* Teamwork, enthusiasm, "hands-on” approach
* Good attitude in relationship and communication with colleagues, sales network, and customers
