Humanities Teacher Job

Timetable: Full-time, long-term role
Hays Education are working with an Ofsted ‘Good’ coeducational secondary school with academy status, located in Leicestershire. The school caters for students aged between 11–16.
They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, and Social Studies to students aged 11-16. You will inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential and develop a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Humanities subjects.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
* Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in a relevant Humanities subject.
* Proven experience teaching Humanities at the secondary school level.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to continuous professional development.
