Stocksbridge Neuro Rehabilitation Centre in Sheffield is currently seeking a Bank Nurse.
Stocksbridge Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre provides specialist rehabilitation and care for adults with a brain injury or other neurological condition.
Our highly skilled and experienced team provides input from Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language therapy, nursing, and rehabilitation support workers, offering outcome-focused rehabilitation and care for individuals with highly complex needs in an environment that promotes recovery.
We are looking for an exceptional individual with the right attitude, skills, and knowledge who shares our passion to deliver the best quality care experience.
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications Required:
1. 1st Level Nurse
2. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
3. Genuine interest in working with the relevant Client group
4. Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable)
Desired:
1. Team player
2. Experience and qualification in care for relevant Client category
3. Previous supervisory experience
Key Responsibilities:
1. To achieve the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct nursing care and effective supervision of Staff Members. To take management responsibility for a shift as directed.
2. Ensure that all Staff Members contribute, to the best of their ability, to the efficient running of the Care Centre and the creation of an atmosphere conducive to the best interests of the Clients. Duties may include acting up for the Deputy Home Manager and/or the Home Manager in their absence.
3. Adhere to all appropriate NMC guidelines/regulations.
4. Adhere to all Company policies and procedures within the defined timescales.
