HR Officer / Administrator Hourly Rate: £12.55 per hour Location: Colchester Job Type: Part-Time, Temporary Join a leading trust in Essex as an HR Administrator. You will be instrumental in delivering recruitment, selection, onboarding, and maintaining our HR Information System (HRIS). Day-to-day of the role: Manage recruitment and selection processes, including writing job packs, collating applications, and arranging interviews. Prepare employment offers and contracts, ensuring efficient pre-employment checks. Liaise with IT for staff IT amendments including new starter logins and account closures. Handle changes during the employee lifecycle such as DBS renewal and contract adjustments. Process employee sickness and absence, supporting with absence management. Maintain up-to-date and accurate HR folders, personnel files, and HRIS. Support the monthly payroll process, ensuring all HRIS changes are accurately inputted. Manage HR email mailboxes and maintain HR trackers. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with GDPR in handling people-related matters. Collaborate effectively within the team and across the organisation to maintain standards and procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in an HR administrative / officer role. Familiarity with recruitment processes and HR Information Systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint). Strong organisational skills, ability to work proactively, and under pressure. Excellent communication skills and effective collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.
