Duties will include:\nâ¢\tProviding 1st level support for all VGroup Business Systems, these include in house applications and off the shelf applications used by VGroup. \nâ¢\tProvide telephone and remote support to Global offices and vessels ,maintaining a professional manner when dealing with users and peers. \nâ¢\tAttending Vessels and offices to provide IT support. \nâ¢\tWorking with the Service Desk system to update users during the lifecycle of the request and resolve or escalate as required.\nâ¢\tSupporting all aspects of hardware used within the Group.\nâ¢\tEnforcing the IT security policy and procedures.\nâ¢\tActive Directory / User Administration. Desirable skills:\nâ¢\tGood interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of colleagues in person and on the phone.\nâ¢\tGood communication skills are essential. \nâ¢\tMust be able to communicate in English, both orally and via email/teams. \nâ¢\tKnowledge of Desktops and laptops and, if any, server exposure\nâ¢\tKnowledge Windows 10 Operating system or any server Operating systems\nâ¢\tKnowledge Microsoft 365 applications\n\nImportant information:\nThis vocational apprenticeship comprehensively supports your specific job role with this particular employer.
