The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day running of scopes across all construction trades within the site across multiple projects. Ensuring SIMOPs, safety and quality are maintained. Being able to execute timelines that meet the business requirements as client status.
Key Accountabilities
1. In a client supervisory role, the incumbent must maintain the Multi-Trade Construction Co-ordination to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of operation.
2. Manages the work of Engineering Services to ensure compliance to Standards and all pertinent specification requirements.
3. Participates in co-ordination meetings ensuring trade clashes and potential high risk critical paths are identified.
4. Monitors contractor workload and specific project progress in conjunction with the Construction Manager to ensure project schedules are met or adjusted in line with current project conditions.
5. Ensures daily project progress reports and diaries are kept up to date.
6. Ensure all scopes are released only with approval from the Construction Manager or Engineering Manager, review variation applications and confirm work change directives.
7. Provides quality control inspection of workmanship in multiple construction trades ensuring compliance with standard specifications, contract documents, and industry construction methods.
8. Ensures HSE standards are maintained to site expectation with direct compliance with good housekeeping standards, completing site safety audits with direction from the Construction Manager and Targeting zero accidents.
9. Confirms project material requirements ensuring MTO’s are issued to the Procurement Department in a timely manner.
10. Performs related duties as assigned.
11. It is the responsibility of the construction supervisor to ensure production targets are met and all timelines coordinated to suit.
12. Validate SIPs quotes and valuations.
13. Execute multi contracts and KPI’s.
14. Quality control and sign off within all SIPs scopes.
15. Provide productivity reports.
16. Develop look ahead schedules working with contractor and business requirements.
17. Co-ordinate business critical priorities.
18. Co-ordinate SIPs resource to meet business requirements.
19. Work with the business and project teams to develop and introduce innovation to access requirements.

1. Ensure that all Safety, Health, Environment, & Quality requirements are met including (but not limited to) workplace organisation, standard operating procedures, work instructions, risk assessments, permit issuing and control, COSHH assessments, housekeeping standards, and operating within the environmental permit.
Team Building & Incentive
Assist Construction Manager in generation, data collection and monitoring of Construction level KPI’s.

1. Communicate and coordinate within all production and engineering related departments.
2. Delegate work scopes to contractor management and supervision.
3. Engage at all levels within engineering and production.

Education
Essential
Multi trade construction knowledge within Petro-Chemical industry and experience within Top Tier COMMAH sites.
IOSH managing safety or equivalent.
Working experience and familiarity with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in relevant construction and installation activities
