Key Responsibilities
* To be able to follow a set of instructions and produce materials to our high level of quality control.
* Ensuring the safe and accurate loading of customer orders.
* Serving customers in the yard to ensure customer orders are fulfilled completely.
* To assemble customer orders in the yard and production areas so that they are ready for uplift or collection by couriers/transport companies, which may require the use of a counterbalance forklift truck or manual pallet truck.
* Ensuring all stock is safely stored and protected against the weather & damage.
* Check stock levels & advise when stocks are low so they can be re-ordered in time.
* Dealing with damages effectively and promptly.
* Driving company vehicles safely to deliver customer orders or make site to site transfers (where applicable).
* Significant repeat manual handling during shifts.
* Ensuring personal compliance with all Health and Safety obligations.
Key Skills Required
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly and helpful approach at all times.
* Great customer service skills and the ability to manage tasks and time effectively to meet collection timescales from 3rd party couriers.
* Holding a full clean driving licence (Desirable).
* Holding a current Forklift Certificate would be useful.
